Hello folks, I have just discovered " KStars " and I am wondering if anyone else has
tried it ?
It was created by KDE which is a version of LINUX O/S. It works just as well on
MICROSOFT O/S, why not give it a try!

It reminds me of " Stellairum" which I am also working on ! They are both on a steep
learning curve for me , but seem to be worth the effort .

Perhaps I should stick to one or the other ! What do you think?

Robert.

Haven't tried Kstars but I can say that Stellarium and Cartes du Ciel (Skycharts) both have big followings in astro circles :)

BTW I use an older version of SkyMap Pro. Not pretty by todays standards but works well,

Regards,
